Hi! I am running into a prob on my site-- Every once in a while I upload a jpg for example, the post goes through but the image does not show up anywhere. Upon trying to upload the same image, the same thing happens again. Is it because an image with the same filename exists or something? No error messages- the post goes through but no image or image link shows. Details- images stored on disk, tor browser to post, Version 8.0 No big deal, was just wondering if anyone knows what is going on.

also, what happens when image limit is reached? Like the default is 1000 images, what happens when there are 1000 images? The first image gets deleted when some one posts 1001 th image?

Enable verbose mode and try again. What happens when limit is reached is that users get an error message when trying to post.

So when testing, I won't use pm2 i will just keep a terminal open --I guess i can only catch my own error messages not others, but at any rate i will try to reproduce the prob and gat back to ya! So I am on the tor browser, I have one tab for your lynxchan site and the other tab is my site. Maybe the whole thing is just a tor issue??? >>confirmed << it seems to be a tor issue cuz i just did some test uploads from a reg browser. Do you think that this is a possible bug in ver 8.0??? I was posting all day, it only happened once in a while, now from tor anyway it happens very often

well I took verbose back off, rebooted, and now everything seems fast and post testing seems great- the images go through fine- in fact it seems fast even on tor now. So idk what the hell is happening. Guess I won't worry bout it, will see if it happens in the future.

It's the IM policy. If you are using rocky 8 just create an empty directory for it, instructions on the readme. I'll update it soon to prevent it from refusing some jpgs.
